ABOUT THE DOCTOR:

Dr. Anderson received his Doctorate of Medicine in 1984 from the University of Maryland
Medical School in Baltimore. Following internship at the University of South Florida in
Tampa, and a residency there in Radiology, he was certified by the American Board of
Radiology in June of 1988. He then completed a Fellowship at Duke University in the
fields of Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and CT Scanning.
Holding an Active Florida Medical License since 1986 and an Active North Carolina Medical
License since 1988, Dr. Anderson's work experience began in 1989 with two years at Bayfront
Medical Center in St. Petersburg and he has practiced at Northside Hospital and Heart
Institute there since 1991. In addition, he also has maintained a private practice with
Gateway Radiology Consultants, P.A. since 1991 and has served as Clinical Assistant Professor
at the University of South Florida. His position with All Florida Ortho is that of Radiologist,
reading MRIs.
Dr. Anderson has served as Treasurer, Vice President, and President of the Florida West Coast
Radiologic Society. At Northside Hospital and Heart Institute he has been Secretary/Treasurer
of Medical Staff, Vice Chief of Staff, Chief of Staff, and on the Staff Executive Committee.
He was Program Committee Member of Florida Radiological Society, Visiting Professor of Sports
Medicine for American Sports Medicine in 1997 and for the Institute of Birmingham, Alabama, in
1998. In addition, he has been a Board Member of South Pinellas Trust since 1999. Dr. Anderson
has been Team Radiologist for the Tampa Bay Devils since 1993, Toronto Blue Jays and Philadelphia
Phillies since 1998, and Team Doctor for NFL Europe since 2001.
