  ABOUT THE DOCTOR:
 
Dr. Hamilton has been practicing in St. Petersburg since 1980. He is a founder of All Florida Orthopaedic Associates with a subspecialty in hip and knee replacement. His Doctor of Medicine degree was earned at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor followed by an internship in general surgery at the University of Kentucky. Further general surgery training was obtained at the University of Michigan St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, followed by a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Extended training was completed in joint replacement at Oxford University in England and a research fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at the University of Hong Kong.

His board certification is from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Hamilton is the CEO of All Florida Orthopaedic Associates and President of the Center for Special Surgery. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Pinellas County Medical Society and a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine.
