  ABOUT THE DOCTOR:
 
Dr. Kopelman has been a podiatrist since 1990 after receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida, where he was valedictorian of his class. He completed his Podiatric Surgical Residency at Universal Medical Center Hospital in Plantation, Florida. In addition to his Board Certification in Podiatric Surgery and Wound care, he is a Member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Kopelman was the first podiatrist with surgical and ER privileges at Bayfront Medical Center, the first Head of Podiatry section at St. Anthony's Hospital, first podiatrist in St. Petersburg to also work with an orthopaedic group, and first podiatrist to take ER calls at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. He is on staff at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Anthony's Hospital, Palms of Pasadena, Edward White, Northside, St. Petersburg General, and Morton Plant Hospital, as well as the Center for Special Surgery, Belleair Surgical Center, and Healthsouth Surgery Center. He treats patients of all ages.
