  ABOUT THE DOCTOR:
 
Dr. Lowry has a specialty in Orthopaedic Surgery with subspecialty in Arthroscopy and Total Joint Replacement. Dr. Lowry received his M.D. from the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine, in Chicago. His orthopaedic categorical internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery were completed at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Lowry is Board Certified with the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Arthroscopy Board of North America. Dr. Lowry is Chief of Orthopaedics at Bayfront Medical Center and St. Anthony’s Hospital. He is also a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Team at Bayfront Medical Center. Dr. Lowry is a member of the Florida Orthopaedic Society, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Arthroscopy Association of North America and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has been practicing in St. Petersburg since 1992.
