  ABOUT THE DOCTOR:
 

Dr. Swiggett joined All Florida Orthopaedics Associates in 2006 after establishing a large client base in practice with Smith, Nantais & Swiggett, MDs, P.A. since 1998. His specialty is Orthopaedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Arthroscopy, Hip Replacement, and Trauma. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine at Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire; worked at Tufts New England Medical Center, in Orthopaedic and General Surgery, in Boston; completed his chief residency in New England Baptist Hospital; and was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1986 with re-certification in 1997 and 2005.

Dr. Swiggett was Chief of Surgery at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH, 1993-1995 and at Edward White Hospital, 2003-2005; and has been Chief of Surgery at St. Anthony's Hospital since 2006. He was in private practice in Orthopaedic Surgery in St. Petersburg from 1998-2006; and is a Fellow with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and also with the American College of Physician Executives.
