We work with several respected hospitals and surgery centers in the St. Petersburg area. The location of your surgery will depend on the surgery you are having and the surgeon you are seeing.

Review and Update Your Medication List

Make sure you review and update your medications list prior to your surgery. Review this list with your physician. We recommend that you put all of your medications on an index card, which you can keep in your wallet or keep on your person. Bring this with you to your surgery.

Review and Update Your Allergy List

Make sure you review and update your allergy list prior to your surgery. Be sure to let your physician know if you are latex allergic. We recommend that you put all of your allergies on an index card, which you can keep in your wallet or on your person. Bring this with you to your surgery.

Obtain Your Medical Clearance

Some surgeries will require a written medical clearance from your doctor. Once your surgery date is set, make appointments with the appropriate physicians to obtain your medical clearance right away! If your medical clearance is not obtained in time, your surgery could be delayed.

Read the Pre-Operative Protocol

Please read and sign the pre-operative protocol that will be given to you in advance of your surgery. This document will also tell you the do’s and don’ts of preparing for surgery.

Prepare the following items and bring them with you to the hospital:

  • Insurance Card
  • Photo ID
  • X-Rays and MRIs
  • List of Medications
