Physical & Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapists are certified hand therapists who, through advanced study and experience, specialize in treating individuals with conditions affecting the hands and upper extremity.
Our hand therapists treat any problem related to the upper extremity. They can effectively treat and rehabilitate the patient through post-operative rehabilitation, preventative, non-operative or conservative treatment. The therapist works closely with the physician and patient to provide a continuum of care. This often starts within days of the injury or surgery right through the patient’s return to work and/or a productive lifestyle.
Our Physical Therapy Department has Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants and Athletic Trainers all licensed and certified through the state of Florida. Treating a wide variety of orthopaedic diagnoses such as peripheral or spinal, post-surgical or non-surgical.
Our staff members have vast clinical experience with many therapists being part of AFO for twenty years. Some therapists have post graduate certification allowing for advanced treatment techniques addressing complex diagnoses.
Empathetic, knowledgeable, caring staff in a friendly environment allow for excellent outcomes for our patients.
