Dr. Heitner is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who earned his Medical Degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, in 2014. He continued his training there, completing his orthopaedic surgery residency in 2019. Afterward, he entered private practice in Watertown, NY, where he specialized in general orthopaedics for one year.
During this time, Dr. Heitner performed a wide range of procedures, including elective shoulder arthroplasty and arthroscopy, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, treatment of tendon and nerve injuries, fracture care, and microvascular replantation of digits and limbs.
In pursuit of further specialization, Dr. Heitner and his family relocated to Tampa, FL, where he completed a fellowship in Hand, Upper Extremity, and Microsurgery at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute. He joined All Florida Orthopaedic Associates in August 2021.
