He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degree and graduated Valedictorian of his class from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, FL. He completed a 24 month Podiatric Surgical residency at the Universal Medical Center Hospital in Plantation, FL.
Dr. Kopelman is Board Certified with the American Academy of Podiatric Surgery and Wound Management.
Dr. Kopelman was the first podiatrist with surgical and ER privileges at Bayfront Medical Center. The first Head of Podiatry at St. Anthony’s Hospital, and the first podiatrist in St. Petersburg to work with an orthopedic group.
